The Santoku knife is the most commonly used knife in Asia. The blades form is particularly suitable for pushing cuts.
Ideal for cutting and separating fruits and vegetables. Made of high quality chrome molybdenum steel, X50CrMo14, which due to its special hardening in the vacuum process is very rust-resistant and the blade remains sharp for a very long time.

 

Santoku means knife of the 3 virtues - fish, meat and fruit - the main feature is the special and finely chopped blade, with an additional fluted edge.

 

The knive blade is made of high quality chrome molybdenum steel, hardened in a vacuum process to 56 - 57 Rockwell hardness. Highly polished surface for maximum rust resistance and edge retention. Hand sharpened for perfect sharpness. Made in Germany with a lifetime warranty.

 

This Giesser Messer Knives come with a stamped blade and are fully molded TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) plastic handles with a non-slip and pleasantly grippy material (TPE). The well-formed protective nose provides a secure hold and reduces the risk of slipping of the knife-guiding hand. The plastic handle is suitable for contact with foodstuffs and complies with the requirements of the following legislation. The knives are dishwasher-proof. To protect the cutting edge, however, we recommend manual cleaning.
